What an incredibly poor experience. I came in as a walk in to receive a follow up vaccination, on the correct day as per the instruction my last appointment. From the very minute I walked in the treatment from front of house staff has been particularly unfriendly and really ineffective at providing a comforting environment. They seem to have an a poor attitude to patient care and absolutely no empathy - especially Michelle, who I can only describe as smiling through gritted teeth! First off, why does a patient have to complete the same initial form as had been completed previously? This is clearly inefficient but the least of my worries when compared to the wait time. I've now been waiting 2 hours and 30 mins and still haven't been called. When I asked reception they said I was next which was 50 mins ago... and there have been around 10 people called since then. I've been waiting for an hour more than the next longest. It was down to just four persons in the waiting room an hour ago. Out of desperation I feel like walking out, such a waste of time. Why they cant just provide an orderly appointment system? I was eventually seen and the clinician apologised for the wait. The appointment lasted all of two full minutes. I don't intend to come back. I may be feeling somewhat exasperated, but I want to be treated fairly and with respect, and have a proper wait time. Its worth noting that I have never had this problem at Dean Street.

Yesterday I’ve booked my appointment online incorrectly for today, as I needed coil removal and I put it as “symptoms”. One of the Receptionist was very nice to me and put me through for my emergency IUD removal as I explained to her that I have Pelvic Inflamatory disease and my GP told me to remove it. I didn’t have to wait for longer than an hour witch I was very pleased about. My Doctor name Lorna who did my IUD removal was extremely helpful and supportive, she was funny, made me feel at ease, I enjoyed talking to her. She is very profesional and takes care of her patients. I’m very pleased with my experience at this clinic and I will definitelly recomment it to others. Thank you for the good service and care of your patients.

During 2018 I have visited the Clinic several occasions. However in two of them I left the Clinic after I was there for almost four hours. It is true, I was offered to go and to be notified by text message when it was going to be seen. They also warned that I would have 30 minutes to return to the clinic. As It would take me more than half hour to come from my place. I had, on these two occasions, not other choice but stick there or be around. If I have been going to the clinic without organising an appointment (I fully understand to book in advance) it was for a particular reason, I was having some concern and I was advised by my doctor to go to the clinic on that particular day. But to wait for almost 4 hours took my patience away and let me with fustration. So I have now to book online and go to the clinic again because u was not seen when I went earlier. To have someone waiting for those long periods of time is outrageous. Even more when no explanation is given.

I was seen within an hour by a very friendly and professional, young female doctor (I've forgotten her name). She handled my case with great sensitivity and continuously made sure that I was aware of whatever the next step in my treatment was. She was joined later by another female doctor to remove what turned out to be a tampon stuck behind my cervix, and I applaud them both for how professional they were. Most probably saved me from a bad case of sepsis. Would recommend to anyone, thank you!!

The staff I saw were attentive and compassionate. The doctor was sensitive to the subject. I had to wait a really long time though which I felt was poorly communicated. My doctors surgery wasn’t aware of the booking of appointments so sent me there, I was added to a waiting list which I waited 4 hours to be seen. That length of time waiting shouldn’t be possible and made it an awful experience.

Offer immediate treatment if someone has symptoms instead of waiting for the results.

There should be an option to make appointments. Having to take 3 hours off work just to swab myself is ridiculous or least some kind of express service.

This is a clinic I will never visit again except of course if they call me in. I've had many check ups before, but not once have I ever had to wait the entire day to be seen. I arrived just before 8 a.m. and did not leave until 4:30 p.m. The notice left in the Waiting Room regarding waiting times was very misleading or ambiguous, it suggest waiting times can be anything between 2 and 3 hours of which I thought, not bad. But waiting an entire day is unprecedented. So no this is not a place I would recommend. But on a good note, once I was seen. I was treated with dignity and respect, and the nurses were ever so apologetic as it turned out I didn't have to wait that long considering what I went there for. Someone did not put the correct information in the system so the nurses could see, hence the reason I assume I waited that long.
